We have loved living in this house. So many things I didn't know would be so meaningful.

1. The view, the view, the view! And have I mentioned the view. Every season brought to life. An appreciation for how small we really are.

2. The wall of floor to ceiling windows in the living room gifts us with amazing sunsets every night.

3. It is incredibly peaceful high above the rest of the town. It is so open and vast yet completely private all at the same time. There is a sense of serenity sitting out on the patio like we are the only people in the world.

4. The wonderful breeze. Even on the warmest days high a top of this hill there is always a cool breeze. The mornings with coffee and the evenings with iced tea feeling the air brush your face.

5. The smell of lilacs and roses that fill the air when they are in bloom.

6. Our trees are beautiful in the spring with all the colorful blooms and produce wonderful apricots, peaches and nectarines. Nothing you can buy in the store taste this good.

7. The expansive master suite is an oasis away from the world. Secluded from the rest of the house allowing for privacy and quiet time to recharge. Besides the space for a large king size bed, we had a sitting area for reading and enough floor space for yoga and anything else you might enjoy doing.

8. The deer. There is an entire herd of deer that bed down in the ravine on the back of our property. We never tire of sitting on the front patio and watching them stroll through the property.

9. The pool. Unlike so many Arizona swimming pools that become like bath water in the summer our stays refreshingly cool. It isn't too large but with the use of a swim tether you can effectively swim like your doing laps in a full size Olympic pool.

Our little hardware store here in Yarnell will amaze you with everything they have. The brothers that own and run it know where every little thing is located. Each nook and cranny is filled with a surprising number of items. It took years before we discovered a need they couldn't fill.
